[Day 3] Dinner at Le Sens Unique

After finding some new shoes, we did go back out tonight for dinner, after I had rested and “recharged” some. Mom was determined to go to a fine dining establishment (on our own time and not attached to a tour ticket). We went to Le Sens Unique around 5pm. It was “business casual”, but there wasn’t really a dress code and the staff were very pleasant! I tried out my new chrome green liquid eye shadow from Colourpop for our outing and it turned out incredibly elegant. Made me feel quite stylish. Anyway, the restaurant did not have mandatory courses, like the Eiffel restaurant had, just so you know upon seeing the menu. The menu was available in French and English – though I was able to read the French fairly well. I ordered the “Le magret de canard” = duck breast roasted, and it came with périgourdin gratin. Both a delight! The bit of fish behind was from mom’s meal, being the sea bass. Also yummy! We were served sparkling water with our meals, no wine of course. After the meal, we enjoyed two coffees (mine was a… double espresso).
