Just as before, our offer was denied. 😦 Apparently the person’s offer who did get accepted was an outrageous amount and had a lot of ernest money up front. If we wanted, we could submit a back up offer, but the risk with backup offers is we won’t know what the appraisal and inspections may have proved wrong with the house that the first potential buyer withdraw due to. SO, we decided against it and carried on with house viewing. To note for anyone looking for houses, you’ll want to continue viewing houses while you’ve put in an offer. Don’t put in more offers while one is pending, but keep your options open in case your offer is denied. We’ve looked at 7ish, maybe 8 houses IN PERSON so far. There were some pretty ones and ones I liked aspects of, but not worth it overall or had too much of a fix-it that we wouldn’t be able to afford. Onto the journey once more!
