Howl-a-ween, 2020 edition

Because Howl-a-ween falls on a Saturday this year, we had a Halloween remote call at work. People were able to share their costumes on camera (and submit photos to the costume contest), as well as talk about what they had planned for the evening. We also did a scavenger hunt which had me running back and forth to the computer which meant taking my headphones on and off. I looked like a panicked, sweaty idiot. Sweaty both from running up and down the stairs, but also because I was wearing this cozy, FLEECE onesie.

My fishy makeup was done very on the fly with makeup that was far too old, but I think it turned out cute for the time it took. Note: This is the first and last onesie costume I will ever buy. I’m not really a fan of them, but I fell into the trap of needing something quick to wear! But, I do admit, this one is super cute. Next year, I’ll have to take a picture of the whole costume including the back as it has a tail too! 🙂

Outside of work, one of my favourite video games, “Monster Hunter World” was also hosting a Halloween-type festival in-game. One of the aspects was the change in food that’s delivered to you by the chefs when you are trying to get “buffs” on your character before setting out on a quest. I thought it was a cool layout and I want to try to make all these foods in real life! So, that will be a project at some point.

Looks strangely delicious, am I right?
